One Room Challenge Week 5: A million ways to make a bed

Hi there! I’m participating in this fall’s One Room Challenge. Check out all the makeovers here, and read my previous posts here, here, here, and here.

Hi, everyone. Hope you had a great Halloween! Ours was frigid, but the twins didn’t seem to notice.

Things are winding down in the boys’ room upstairs, and I’ve spent an inordinate amount of time figuring out how to make their beds. Here are a few of the options:

Which one do you like best? Or perhaps the better question is which do you hate least? ‘Cause I’m not in love with any of them just yet.

In other news, the mountain wall with its marquee letters is done (take a peek at the cute rug too):

And the cardboard trophy heads came in the mail. They aren’t huge—you can order big ones, but I wanted small—and they come in a package about the size of a sheet of paper:

We got one deer and one moose

What’s left in the room? Hanging things on the wall, adding cute monogram pillows, finishing the game table, and a bunch of other little things I’m probably forgetting right now. But I’m signing off because it’s been a long day full of fun things like class parties and costume parades. Happy Halloween. •
