A couple weeks ago, I extolled the virtues of having a single lumbar pillow on the sofa as a way to minimize stuff in the living room and to freshen things up for spring.
I put my money where my mouth is and stitched up this lumbar pillow using fabric from Hobby Lobby and this insert. The project took one hour, and here’s how she looks:
The fabric is a pretty good match for my favorite painting of all time on the opposite wall.

Here’s to spring! Hope you are able to spoil yourself with a few new things this spring too. Even if there’s no room in the budget, there are always flowering branches on the canal banks, and those can add just as much (maybe more) pleasure than anything else you can add to a space. Happy Friday. •
