Hooray for paint!

You guys, paint is done, and I’m a happy camper. We are one massive step closer to finishing this renovation! Here are a few pictures of how things are looking:

I try to keep things pretty chipper on the blog and Instagram (and in my life in general), but this project hasn’t been without its frustrations. We are WAY over on our scheduled completion, and that’s been hard.  But perspective is a beautiful thing. On NPR last week, I heard that 20 million people in four African countries are at risk for starvation. So small delays in a home remodel are not that big of a deal—in fact, they should barely register as a blip on the radar. My life is very good, and I cannot complain.

This week will be busy with stucco, cabinets, and floors finishing up. Can’t wait! •
