Pull-down kitchen faucets are handy for spraying out a dirty sink, but here’s another reason to consider one for your kitchen: If you have little kids or grandkids, they are perfect for washing little hands. When kids can’t quite reach the middle of the sink and you don’t want to lift them every single time they need to wash, just pull down the faucet and move the water closer to them.
The other advantage is complete control over when they rinse. I don’t know about you, but my kids don’t always suds up as much as they should before putting their hands in the water. With a pull-down faucet, I can move the water away from their little hands until they’ve lathered to my satisfaction. They might not love that, but I do.
