PSA: What to do with all those paperbacks

Just a quick idea for your Friday: I have heard multiple design experts preach that paperbacks shouldn’t be on display in a bookcase, but that just won’t work for me—I like to keep my books close at hand, and if they aren’t on the bookshelf, where are they going to go? In a box in the storage room? Nobody better put my books in the basement!

But because many paperbacks are small, they can look clutter-y on a shelf. My solution has been to corral a whole lot of them in long-and-narrow baskets in the bookcase. My books are still at hand, and the baskets add texture to the space.
